1.   What should be done if I have a breakdown?

Nothing easier! By a single phone call to the A24 callcenter, you will get the roadside assistance that you need. You will inform the operator about the place where you are and the nature of your breakdown, and this will organize the appropriate breakdown assistance service.

2.   I bought an A24 assistance product. How many times can I access the included services?

Prepaid A24 products are valid throughout the validity of the contract for one year, starting with the date stated on the assistance card. For the duration of one year, whenever you have a breakdown, call your A24. There is no limit for incidences.

3.   If I need towing, what is the destination of the vehicle?

If you are an A24 customer, and your vehicle has a breakdown and needs towing, A24 will carry it to the nearest A24 center, in order to be repaired. The A24 center is an auto service workshop. The car will be attentively checked by the service station experts. If a spare part needed, it will be acquired promptly.

4.   Afer how much time from purchasing  the A24 product, may I benefit of the services included?

After having chosen a product that suits you and having filled in the registration form, you have to pay the product value. 48 hours after payment registration by A24, you may access the services included in the purchased product, provided that the vehicle has been viewed by a representative of A24.

5.   Is the range of A24 services including accommodation? Under which conditions may I benefit of rent-a-car?

Your vehicle was towed to an A24 center for repairing. The mechanics detect the causes which lead to the breakdown. They inform the A24 callcenter about the necessary time to repair the vehicle. If it is up to 48 hours, one of the following options can be chosen:

  1. Accommodation in a guest house or a hotel located close to the A24 center where your vehicle is, at the accommodation standard that you have chosen when  configurating your A24 product. A24 shall bear the costs of accommodation for maximum two nights;
  2. Continuing the journey. A24 provides a car, under rent-a-car system, and bears the rental costs for maximum 2 days. The costs of fuel and vehicle guaranty shall be borne by yourself.
  3. A combined version, one night accommodation and one day on which you get a vehicle. You cannot choose for 2 night accommodation and 2 days rent-a-car.

6.   What means repatriation?

If the mechanics find out that they cannot repair the failure within 48 hours, we shall repatriate you. We shall organize the transportation of the persons from the place you are, to your residence. Transportation shall be done by one of the following public transport means: train, minibus, bus. We shall transport your car to your residence, as follows:

  1. From EU countries within maximum 15 working days;
  2. In Romania within maximum 7 working days.

For the A24 clients, repatriation costs shall be borne by A24.

If you refuse the vehicle repairing at the A24 center, we will repatriate by charging you.
